Kinspeed are thrilled to announce we have a new member of staff joining us! Steve, who has joined the team as a Project Manager. We managed to squeeze a few moments into his diary – below you can out more about Steve, what his background is and what a typical week at Kinspeed is like for him.
Tell us about your background:
I am AAT qualified and started working in a variety of commercial enterprises before stumbling into software 20 years ago, starting as a support consultant for some Agricultural Machinery Software. I worked my way up through all the roles there, including Consultancy, Project Management, Sales before changing to Construction software just before the big financial crash. Since 2007, I have worked with Sage 200 and I am accredited in the full suite of products. Since 2010, I have been used as a manufacturing specialist always working to Prince2 or similar methodology.
Over the 20 years I have recognised the importance of the work/life balance and still actively participate in village cricket, quiz leagues, and petanque and I can be seen walking the boards in the annual village pantomime (oh yes I do!).
What is a typical week at Kinspeed like for you:
There is no such thing as a typical week; I could be on site delivering training or implementing software, sat on the end of a phone keeping customers up to date, or even trying to implement processes that make the internal mechanisms of Kinspeed more efficient.
