Happy CX with Extra software
Sage 200 proved the optimal ERP solution, integrated with a bespoke web order software development, WebExtra, designed to automatically pull orders from the PLT website into Sage ERP. This eradicated manual data entry and guaranteed no ‘out of office hours’ delay.
WebExtra software also updates stock and product data to the PLT website. RetailExtra was implemented alongside to manage the product matrix and allow for styles and SKU’s to be controlled with a stock hierarchy.
For fast and accurate order fulfilment, FastDespatch inventory management software was integrated, designed to reduce picking, and packing errors to zero, and provide product traceability from order to delivery. For PLT, the software integration also enables wave picking and categorisation of orders for the warehouse.
To eliminate manual actions from order fulfilment processes, Metapack, one of the largest repositories of carrier labels in the UK, was integrated to Sage ERP.
