Kinspeed were approached by BooHoo in early 2008 to look at how their current website linked to their accounting system. They were at that time running a copy of Sage 50 as the backend accounting system and due to the popularity of the site were already beginning to see the software creaking after 6 months use. It was decided that BooHoo needed to upgrade to a more robust ERP platform that could cope with a lot more orders.
Boohoo now have a market value comparable with the biggest fashion brands in the UK, and their brands are well known by all.
Current focus is on ensuring purchasing processes are kept to a minimum timewise, to support the swift turnaround required, ensuring the third party integrations are importing timely and correctly to the Boohoo accounting software, which then enables the vital hourly KPI reports to be produced for the managers throughout the company.
