Role: IT Support Engineer

We have an exciting opening for an IT Support Engineer to join our team based in our offices on the outskirts of Sheffield.



Kinspeed Ltd is a Sheffield-based software house specializing in bespoke solutions for Sage accounting & ERP systems, e-commerce solutions and bespoke development. We are a progressive Sage Business Partner and Developer. We have recently undergone a change of focus, which has energised our strategic direction and we are looking to add a talented IT Support Engineer to our team.

Our clients are varied and include large London-based, country-wide companies, large on-line retailers to SMEs. In addition we have several in-house technologies based on the .NET and PHP platform and e-commerce solutions.



The successful candidate will be working on a multi skilled IT support desk and given the opportunity to work with the market leading technologies. Experience of Microsoft client and server operating systems are required but there will be training and support in place to help you progress.

You will answer first line support and also plan and implement system installations and upgrades for high profile, nationally recognised, customers.

You will utilise your skills to help us create solutions for our clients. You will become an integral part of the business’ on-going success by applying your skills, determination and ambition to all of our projects to ensure their success.

You will provide consultation to our customers and own the issues from start to finish. You will be able to multi-task. You may be required to work on-call hours.


Skills required:

Microsoft Server 2008 or 2012

Microsoft Client, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10

Active Directory

Microsoft Networking

Microsoft SQL Server

Good all-round communication skills


Any experience in the following areas would be beneficial but not essential:

Microsoft Exchange

Office 365


Microsoft IIS
