Role: Application Support Analyst

We have an exciting opening for an Application Support Analyst to join our team based in our offices on the outskirts of Sheffield.

WHO ARE WE?

Kinspeed Ltd is a Sheffield-based software house specializing in bespoke solutions for Sage accounting & ERP systems, e-commerce solutions and bespoke development. We are a progressive Sage Business Partner and Platinum Developer. We are looking to add a talented Application Support Analyst to our team.

Our clients are varied and include large London-based, country-wide companies, large online retailers to SMEs. In addition, we have several in-house technologies based on the .NET and PHP platform and e-commerce solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The successful candidate will be working on a multi-skilled IT support desk and given the opportunity to work with the market leading technologies. Experience of Microsoft client and server operating systems are required but there will be training and support in place to help you progress.

You will provide help desk services, system administration and telephone support for ERP systems to high profile, nationally recognised, customers.

This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be knowledgeable with MS-SQL Server, SQL Profiler and report writing. Previous experience with IIS, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, SQL Server Reporting Services, SSIS, DTS would be advantageous but not essential.

You will utilise your skills to help us create solutions for our clients. You will become an integral part of the business’ on-going success by applying your skills, determination and ambition to all our projects to ensure their success.

You will provide consultation to our customers and own the issues from start to finish. You will be able to multi-task. You may be required to work on-call hours.

Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Profiler

Microsoft Networking

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

Any experience in the following areas would be beneficial but not essential:

Previous experience working in a help desk environment

Office 365

Sage ERP, other ERP

Microsoft IIS, Classic ASP, ASP.net

Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, SSIS, DTS
