What do Boohoo do? Boohoo have been pushing boundaries since 2006 to bring you all the latest looks for less. Their philosophy is pretty simple: don’t take fashion or life too seriously. Using shortened supplier chains, Boohoo are able to stay on trend, minimising stock holding and obsolete items. Our partnership with Boohoo Kinspeed were approached by Boohoo in early 2008 to look at how their website at the time linked to their accounting system. They were at that time running a copy of Sage 50 as the backend accounting system and due to the popularity of the site were already beginning to see the software creaking, after 6 months use. It was decided that Boohoo needed to upgrade to a more robust ERP platform that could cope with a lot more orders. Our Approach Sage 200 was introduced and with the structure supported by our bespoke development, Boohoo underwent rapid growth, with Sage 200 able to handle the strain. In recent years, a Warehouse Management System was introduced to reduce the reliance on the Sage 200 commercials system, however our integrations can handle towards 500,000 sales order lines a day duringpeak periods. Ongoing Relationship Boohoo now have a market value comparable with the biggest fashion brands in the UK, and their brands are well known by all. Current focus is on ensuring purchasing processes are kept to aminimum timewise, to support the swift turnaround required, ensuring the third party integrations are importing timely and correctly to the Boohoo accounting software, which then enables the vital hourly KPI reports to be produced for the managers throughout the company. 24/7 fashion made possible by Kinspeed. 4 < C A S E S T U D Y >
