Kinspeed MD, Ian Wragg will be attending the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce’s Sporting Christmas lunch in aid of the exceptionally good work done by Weston Park Hospital. As Patrons of the chamber Kinspeed always support good local causes and this one, with the added benefit of meeting local sporting heroes, is even more enticing.
With famous local heroes such as Chris Morgan, Bobby Hassell Olympian Joe Roebuck, Sheffield born boxers Scott Jenkins and Adam Etches as well as Mark Aston, the head coach of the championship winning Sheffield Eagles attending, I am sure that Ian will be able to convince at least one of them to have a picture with him. He may even try to use his sales technique to get Mark Aston to hand over the Sheffield Eagles’ championship trophy, which will be there on the night, to Kinspeed! Mark better keep a close eye on it…
It is important to remember that the event has been organised to help Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity to raise funds for their wonderful and life-saving work. For those who are not familiar with the hospital or the charity’s work, The Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield is one of only four dedicated cancer hospitals in England. Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity supports the hospital by funding pioneering cancer research and helping to improve cancer treatments and care for patients from Sheffield, all of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire.
In an attempt to help the event reach its target, Kinspeed have donated a variety of wines to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Here are the names of our selection:
- Blancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc
- Freixenet Cordon Rosado
- Torres Vinasol
- Pio Cesare Barbera D Alba
- La Gasconne Cotes De Gascogne
- Mad Fish Pinot Noir
There is also a variety of Kinspeed Merchandise thrown in so the lucky highest bidder will also receive a highly collectable mug, pen keyring and T-shirt! If you cannot get to the dinner to bid then you can send a bid to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will bid on your behalf as a proxy.
If you still would like to go there are still a few tickets remaining at £16.95 which you can book by going to http://www.brchamber.co.uk/events/sportsmans-christmas-lunch-in-aid-of-weston-park-cancer-charity-173
