Kinspeed Offers To Help Rotherham Based Charity Robond

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of dedicating some of my time to helping a charity called Robond. This particular charity is all about assisting people to access privatly rented accommodation and help landlords to find suitable tenants. The scheme provides a housing pathway with a bond guarantee to landlords. This helps vulnerable people living on benefits or low wages that are homeless or about to become homeless.

Kinspeed’s Managing Director, Ian Wragg, is on their board of trustees and asked me to help them with their fundraising strategy and marketing plans to help their charity grow and raise money to help more homeless people find a safe and secure place to live.

After being introduced to Tracey at our Robond meeting, I was inspired by her story. Tracey is currently using Robond’s services to help provide her with a guarantee bond to her current landlord. Since Robond helped Tracey, she has been giving back to the charity by volunteering at their Rotherham offices. She has been involved in arranging property viewings, administration duties and also sits on the charity’s board of trustees. She is also the co-founder of the new fundraising committee. The dedication Tracey has shown to giving back to this charity so others can benefit from their amazing work is inspirational. She has shown to others that they can make a difference if you just give back.

After listening to Tracey’s dedication to the Robond charity, Kinspeed have decided to give up some of their time to help improve Robond’s website and create new leaflets to give out to both stakeholders and tenants.

It is hard for charities like Robond to find constant funding so support is absolutely key to their survival.

If you would like to volunteer, become a trustee or help with funding then please contact Robond on 01709 828791

If you would like to help with fundraising, or if you would like to donate to Robond’s fundraising efforts then please contact either Jan or Tracey on 01709 828791.
